Program Overview. Our winterization program runs from October through November each year. We schedule appointments based on geography, routing technicians through Gold Coast, River North, and Lincoln Park efficiently. Each appointment takes approximately 90 minutes and covers every aspect of winter preparation.
What is Included. Complete disassembly and deep cleaning of all cooking surfaces, grates, and heat plates. Burner tube inspection and cleaning, with replacement recommendations for corroded tubes. Ignition system testing and electrode cleaning. Gas connection inspection and professional disconnection.
We also include application of food-safe corrosion inhibitor to the firebox interior, stainless steel exterior treatment and polishing, professional cover installation secured against wind, and a written condition report with spring recommendations.
Why a Program Instead of a One-Time Service. Our program clients get priority scheduling during the October-November window. They also receive priority spring startup service in April. Program pricing is locked in annually, and program clients get a 15% discount on any repair work needed during winterization or startup.
